power steering

Hi,
It seems I have a small leak on the hose between the PS tank and the PS pump.
Has anyone a description of the PS system and does anyone know if that hose is difficult to change for a non pro mechanics, which we call "un mecanicien du dimanche" over here ("a sunday mechanics") ?
thanks
Alexis

ps leak

Alexis. This is not a do it youselfer. Its the P/S bypass hose from reservoir to pump. also its not just the hose lewaking. The pump are nototious for leaking. I would send it to the dealer or a good independant shop.

I had the same problem in mine when I bought it. I had my indie replace all hoses connected to my pump. It's been spotless since the changeout.

The tranny cooler line going into the radiator has a drip now and needs to be replaced.

Seems all the flexible hydraulic hoses should be replaced at the same time as it's only a matter of time before the old ones start leaking. I will be doing this shortly.
