16" or 17" on my new '95 E420?

Just bought me one of these fine cars in Germany and will import it to Iceland where I live. Its a 1995 with perfect service records, 150.000 km and I bought it from a Mercedes dealer. The Euro model come with the 2.65 differential! It has 16" 8-hole wheels from stock due to larger brakes than the US models. Just wondering if I should stick to those or upgrade to 17". Can anybody tell me about their experience of driving these cars with 16" vs 17"?

Any pictures of the 16" wheels from the side?
If you get the 17's, would you sell me those 16's?

Well, my car is currently in a ship on its way from Germany to Iceland. I was planning on using the 16's on my E220 station wagon so they are not for sale. Sorry about that.
