Question

You see, the awesomeness (yes it’s a word) of the speed grille had me giddy like a little girl. But now, after having time to think more seriously about it...I have to ask, what did you do with the hood release mechanism? I cannot tell from the picts you posted if it’s even there. Can you post a picture of what you did with this?

While I have your attention, what year GMC Yukon/Denali was that speed grille for?

Do we know the size of the opening?

I am still trying to find a source for a good looking grille. I want one with round or hexagonal holes, as opposed to the “diamond” shaped openings that most “mesh grilles” bring.

1) simply remove the "tongue" piece; the release latch remains accessible through the grill opening(s)

2) 2003

3) irrelevant; as long as a cluster-puller tool can fit through, you're rollin'

4) make one that suits your tatses!!!
