Has anybody adjusted the boost on T-Diesels? If so what's the difficulty level. What are the consequences (good & bad) of adding 3-4 psi on a 200kmi engine?

The only thing I would do is have the boost checked to make sure it is AT factory specs. The only other thing to help with power output is to get the pump re-caled and adjust the mixture a little richer. This will result in more smoke, but more power as well.

I've also read about people increasing their turbo boost from .5-.6 bar into the .7-.9 range, .1 bar at a time, after first adjusting the injection pump as Benzmac refers to. The articles I've read hint at the danger of destroying the injection pump and/or engine but I'm still intrigued. Has anyone in the Northeast US had a good shop do this for them? Ditmire Motorworks is outside Atlantic City, NJ, about 3 hours from me, www.ditmire.com . They refer to a "diesel tune-up"... has anyone taken their turbo there?

You might want to try http://www.royfieldsmercedes.com

They have worked on many of my Mercedes Benz vehicles. They are located north of Baltimore.

Interesting site, but Baltimore is still a good three hours from me. I'm about an hour north of Philadelphia. Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop in my area?
