I received the following information from NOS.
"The kits for diesels work by adding nitrous only into the air intake track.
This kit will allow you to burn any left over fuel and therefore mak an extra
25-30HP. If more HP is required, we would have to modify the pump settings to
up the fuel injected into the engine.

It would be cool to set it up so you would have it for short wide open throttle bursts. As getting out into traffic or getting to speed or passing.

Where did you get this information? My old 240 could use some extra pull now and then. I live at 7800 feet msl and it has a tough time pulling hills..

Thanks

Ty

I think he said NOS. Their full name is Nitrous Oxide Systems. You can find them in any of the performance Mags.

Hi All,
Huh? Pardon my stupidity, but feeding NOx to a diesel? Mercedes has offered most body styles in a choice of either gas or diesel to do different things. The easiest, cheapest way to get more performance from a diesel has always been the "other"(gasoline) choice. I own a 250SE,300SEL3.5,300SEL6.3,and a 300TDT. Asking 6.3 performance from my TDT is like asking Donny Osmond to be Elvis...it just aint gunna happen. And the 6.3 is not going to haul 2 adults and 3 children on 3000+ mile road trips for cheap.
Regards,
Randy D.
