Presently I am nearing completion of testing the following products and would like feedback on potential interest of the following.
-Front sway bar (1.125") with special self lube bushings, no modifications needed. -Trick rear bar, 22mm(0.875"), three piece,clamp- on style arms, billet al. brkts, billet al. end links with spherical rod ends. -Kit to elim. hyd. susp.includes manual adj. rear spring perches for stock or race type springs. -Trick shifter modification to elim. factory slop in shift tower. Replaces steel/rubber bushing and pin and springs. Complete instructions, requires precise reaming of shifter selector bar. Presently, these modifications are installed on my euro 16v for daily use. I have been quite pleased with the results and would consider offering these products to others if the interest is there. |

Very interested, especially in the shifter. Although I don't need the suspension part, I already have Eibach and Bilstein on my car. Let me know some prices and availability.

Congrats on your efforts!
I'd be interested in the front and rear bars and the shift linkage kit. I've already got AMG springs and shocks on the rear. I'd like cost and lead time. |

I am working now on quantity costs for the custom parts of the shifter kit. Of course all this depends on the quantity. The kit will include the custom parts, instructions and list of the factory part numbers of the other parts needed to complete the rebuild. Included will be p/n's for the shift rod bushings. There is a way to provide a short shift option ($$$$), but what I did was remove the knob/boot, shorten the threaded rod, carefully cut the boot away from the knob and attached a MOMO billet "ball" knob. The boot was first attached inside-out to the rod with a worm clamp, then folded down. Do not shorten the rod much, because the way the MOMO knob attaches already provides a shorter overall length.

I have an '86 5-spd 300E that I want to perform several mods on. One thing I would like to do is improve the shift quality. Admittedly, the bushings are worn, but I'm looking for a kit to reduce the shift throw, as well as improving the shift quality. Does anyone know of a kit available for this model? Price?
Thanks, Joe Slemp |

I know this reply seems kind of late but I am new to mercedes shop. I own a 87 16v, 5 speed and I am very interested shifter modifications. The other mods sounds good too. I would appreciate if you would take the time to give me some more detailed info.
Mainly cost and labor time. Thank you, Mauro Gutierrez 87 190e 16v |
