I have noticed that some of the C43 photos that I have seen have the turn signals on the sides of the fenders AND I have noticed that a few of the photos have an emblem on the front grill of the car. I assume that the Euro-spec C43s had these added by the factory. Any ideas where I can get these items for my US Spec car?

Well, Europe-spec cars have turn signals(some ppl call it "Turn Signal Repeaters") on the side of the fenders for a long time. Though, turn signals are start to appear on the US model, too(SLK, CLK, ML, S-Class). They looks cool, and personally, I think they add safety when changing lanes.
As for the emblem on the grill, it's not factory, but maybe some owners who purchase via dealer, and add it on themselves. European always has more options then we do here in NA. Customers can even request factory to remove the all the emblems(S600, CLK320, the letters, not the 3-point star though). You can have a S500, without "S500" letters, but substitute it with "V8" letters....very cool.... Happy Motoring... Andy Kuo '92 400SE |

Having the letters/numbers removed is called "debadging". I had the dealer remove the rear trunklid "E430" upon delivery.
