FWIW, I would reconsider Barry Taylor and "AMG West" in California.
Do a search on this forum, and you'll see has burned some people. The 500E NEVER came from the factory with limited-slip, since it came with ASR. A 3.07 ASR diff (no limited slip) can be had for about $600, IF you can find one. If you want a TRUE dyno'd and scientifically designed exhaust system (not just, according to theory we should put a X-pipe here, etc), contact Vince at Burns Stainless (http://www.burnsstainless.com). Expect to pay $5K. PAG in Vancouver, B.C., Canada, is Eddy Lai's shop. He used to race 190E's. He has done 400+HP turbo'd C36's, and can probably due some good work on the 500E as well. :-) neil 1988 E36T AMG 1993 500E
