W114, W115 (and others) Sun visor clip solution for less then $3. Don't overpay!

It took me a while to find a reasonably priced replacement sun visor clips for a my W115. The original sun visor clips were falling apart and gluing/epoxying did not help.

All clips that I found were priced at $30 - $40 per clip or $50-60 per pair.
That is impressively expensive for a 10 cent piece of plastic.

After some research, it turned out that sun visor clips from older (1975-1980) BMW series 3 are very similar. In fact, I think that the ones offered for the W115 at $30 a piece are exactly the same as BMW.

Here is the BMW part # 51161870863
These are anywhere from $2 for URO to $5 for Genuine BMW. I got a pair and installed it. Bolts straight up. I couldn't be happier.
This part number is for cream colored ones. I imagine there may be other colors.

This fits W115, possibly also W114, W108, W109, W111.
Look up the part number for a picture: 51161870863

Yes I get really upset when my passenger starts winging the visor up and down.
