Minor update...
Turns out one of my suspension links was in need of a little love 5pm when I went to investigate the rear suspension cracking sound: 6pm when said link sheared in half: 7:10pm when the tow truck arrived: Ordered a new link, a little bit of fiddling around getting the new one mounted and we were back in business: Also ordered a couple of these on clearance as the old balljoints were definitely needed some love: Will have to get them on pretty soon. Along with my new front struts and mounts the front suspension will be in very nice shape. Also, a rare discovery in a yard not far away was this old chestnut: Not a lot of 124s (especially not wagons) at junkers in these parts. Got a few small bits and pieces that I was missing from the interior, as well as: There's something bizarrely satisfying about replacing such a tiny item (before it was just a tangle of wire) and also roof bars: That's all for now...!

New shocks and top mounts today:
I also found a new toy on marketplace for a very decent price: Made the job a lot easier! Also got some clear signals so it's back up to standard in that department. Car is looking more and more like a silver arrow all the time!
