500E transmission not shifting?

Hello all,

Was starting on my way to work this morning and found that the transmission would not shift from second gear. Stopped and put it into park and then reverse...everything normal. Headed...

I was at my local MB dealer (El Dorado Hills, CA) yesterday picking up some parts for the 500E and there was a Maybach sitting in the showroom.

5.5l, V12 twin turbo making 550hp (0-62 in 5.4sec). ...

Question Srs Dtc #7

I cannot clear this code from the SRS system. DTC #7 means
"Front passanger airbag resistor". What, if anything, can I do to fix this?

I did not import the car myself. The PO acquired it from a company in Florida that dit it. My understanding is that importing yourself is very difficult and the best option is to find a company...

Hello all,

I am a new owner of a 500E that finally passed the California smog inspection…..this is significant as I will explain later.

First, about the car. It’s a 92’ European specification...
