Not sure what you mean by hole description. They are large round on the outside for the bolt heads and narrow down to the size of the bold threads on the inside.

I have an 87 560SL. Tachometer is dead and can't be fixed. Which clusters will fit this? I am guessing early 107 clusters won't fit, but I am having little luck finding one.

If the car has computer controlled FI, the mixture is meant to vary. Especially in a turbo which requires enriching at high boost.

I used to tow my 6.9 with at least a 1500lb steel trailer with and old Jeep Cherokee. Driving was fine, stopping was exciting until I got surge brakes installed.
