Its sorted.

Found a spring tensioner which connected into a wheel, with the top end hooking onto a plastic fitting at the front/top of the engine.

It had a bolt which when undone and withdrawn,...

Advice fitting belt on 308d (uk)

I am having problems replacing the belt. I have found what seems to be a tensioner 2 metal hooks either end of a spring which has a rubber sleeve.

I removed it completely to check it out but...
