What about putting a 380 v8 in it. Will it fit, do I need to change mounts etc. You guys have been very helpful, thanks

Does anyone know if I can put a 3.5 v8 from a 280 into my 1969 250. I want to look into doing a engine transplant. Are the mounts the same on the chassis. Do I need the tranny aswell and any other...

Awesome. Do you know if the engine mounts fit straight in or will I have to fabricate some? What is a Mercedes 380 V8? Will this fit? Thanks for your help. Stu
