Why not simply install non-resistor plugs? NGK BP6ES plugs will do a fine job and they are non-resistor. If your engine needs a hotter plug, get the BP5ES.

Use the NGK plugs...even the MB Classic Center is using them now. I've used them for years...have always run better and lasted longer than Bosch, for me anyway.
