Replacing accumulators (spheres) before shocks

Hi,
I have a 1995 S500 and my the ride in the rear is very stiff. I can hear (very loudly) every single gap in the road from the right rear side of the car. It sounds like hitting an empty bucket....

Thank you for all the reponses. The brake problem were the front pads, got Amsoil oil, and I guess will be replacing motor mounts. :)
