Aside from checking the GP resistance, you should also check out what brand of GP you have in there. Go with the Bosch or Beru GP's for replacements, both are German. To be safe, change them all out....

PowerService to the rescue

If you don't have a can of diesel fuel (who does?), just add PowerService fuel additive to the filter before you screw it back on. I did mine last week, worked out great with no pumping.

How old are the glow plugs? The GP system should only take one cycle and then fire, unless you have one or more bad GP's or then something else. Start with the GP's first.
