Thats what seems to be the only problem...hopefully it would be solved. It is just annoying knowing that all lifters are new and some of them cause trouble.

I agree. But what if some new lifters do loose oil overnight....which I believe is the case..Then the lifter is the coolpit. The clicking sound goes away in just few seconds after start up.

I have bough new Febi set of hydraulic lifters for my car since the old ones were making clicking noise on idle. Now with new ones installed I have a short 5-10 second clicking during cold start up....

Try it first with changing the temperature sender...

Try it first with changing the temperature sender unit it should be on water pump. This was the solution on my 1986 560sl and the part is cheap and easy to fix.

Drivers seat beckrest on the right side of the seat has a lot of play forward/bacward.You can move it easily forward/bacward with a hand. Since I am light wait it is very anoying during the driving...
