I took the fan off to get access to the 27mm bolt...

I took the fan off to get access to the 27mm bolt that turns the engine. Just make sure to leave a bolt in the fan assembly (after you take the fan off) so that the pulley doesn't come off or shift...

You're probably right, if I get it cleaned at a shop it will be fine...but, I'm weary about so much...
