It attaches to a round plug-in, if I remember correctly it's on the inside of the lower right side bumper, but you will see if if you look carefully. it just plugs in, probably just fell out....

My son parked his 300e and noticed that transmission fluid was pouring on the ground. When we added more it pours straight out.

jump start

It was the key. Had to bring another from home, but it worked. Valet key also works but first key seems kaput.

Also battery drank a ton of water which apparently hasn't been checked since new.
