I think the diesel tach is different form the Gas one

I believe they use a completely different sensing mode. The diesel has a sensor on the flywheel close to the starter. Someone else might have a better explanation. cheers Dan

The 2.3e and the 2.5D are slightly different but the 2.5TD is radically different. The 2.5 rad is held under the the front rad support which unbolts like the 2.6e. Cheers

The Whole steering lock assembly comes out when you grind down the pin. It pretty much makes the whole thing useless to re install but that is easier to fix with a used one than trying to fix the old...
