sounds like a good idea to me, I paid $350.00 for my 89 420 sel , the guy thought it needed a trans but it just had to much fluidin it , so take a chance.

Thanx 420 the lines went to the Change over valve & I used some fish tank air line and the top to a lotion bottle to get the tranny fluid out, It took awhile to get it out but it worked

the problem turned out to be a bad rotor, When it gets hot it deforms until it makes the car wooble. I can drive the car for 10-20 mins b4 the rotor heats up enough to make the car shake if I stop...

no the idle does not go up & down it stay up...

no the idle does not go up & down it stay up until I put in gear then it goes to 700-800 when for on the brake. when the car is stopped and put in park idle goes back to 1400-1500 .

the car idles normal when normal but after it warms up idle jumps to 1400 to 1500 and stays there the oil pressure is at 3 at all times.
