had the same problem, sometimes it worked, sometimes just whacky, replaced sending unit problem solved 86 190e 2.3, not a hard job

i just removed a factory becker am/fm cassett from a 91 190e with bugular alarm, put it in a 87 190e i have about 40 % volume if that much any ideas?

2 exhaust valves warped, #1-#2 repaired 1 today, checked for leakage with kerosene still holding after couple hrs., going to grind all valves and clean while i got it off....................
