Some insurance companies have a wattage limit on total solar gain.

The insurance can be setup to pay for act of god damage.

A 350 would be a noticeable power increase. Especially to your transmission. I would put a 305 in it, take the radiator and trans cooler to a radiator shop, service the trans and close the hood.

I would re torque the intake just because. If its leaking in between the coolant crossover and the intake/exhaust runners it could act like you explained after sitting and then clear up.
