A fuse blown is rarely the cause. You have a short. I would start at the window switches, looking for a pinched wire. But it did take 17 posts to have you check the fuse! :)

Classic symptom of a corroded, loose or cracked fuse. The windows are wired left front right rear thru one fuse and the other way thru the other fuse. Replace the fuse 1st. Report back.

Remove the fuse and replace it with a copper type. Sometimes just rotating the fuse in its holder restores function. I presume you soldered a jumper wire across the 2 contacts on the dimmer reostat.
