w116 compressor, help please.

So my compressor locked up on my 1979 300sd. I have had several people tell me that this compressor is a GM one that I can pick up for around $100. That sounds great but it just hasnt happened....

It just started over the weekend, the key gets stuck and wont turn. If I jiggle it, it finally turns over. Are the tumblers going bad? Do I need to go ahead and find an ignition cylinder? Thanks!
