2001 S 430 L front door actuator

My driver door does not close itself anymore. It seems the part is about $500
Is there a way to fix it?
Is the right part 220 720 13 35?
Are there old part numbers that I could use?

S430 motor rattle under driver door

2001 S430 152K miles. There a rattle assoc c motor but not in engine compartment. It sounds outside the cabin under the drivers seat area.
Any thoughts?

for past few yrs if car got below freezing driver rear shock would go down but back to normal when above freezing.
in past few days both rear shocks drop in an hour or so and the front ones slowly...

Do I buy a new light assembly-or just a cleaning? This AM it did not happen but it may after sitting under cover in the sun later. Is the new one better? Is it easy to DIY?

What is your advice in this matter? Is OEM better? There is Arnott industries which claims their shocks have an upgraded design. Rover retrofits also has them.
I suppose there are shocks that...

clean your sending unit

very common problem
usually fixed by buying sender- not cheap
however can be cleaned. sender is a float on a string inside a cylinder. take off 2 screws on top of cylinder and get it apart. carb...
