No heat in my '79 300SD

after white smoke and a burning smell entered the cabin, the heating stopped.

The heating amplifier had burned out.

Replaced.

No heat.

The AC Servo may have been the problem but was...

old amplifier unit began smoking.

tried to replace with remanufactured unit. that began smoking as soon as partially plugged in = pulled it off immediately.
