FYI, re-read the posts - I had need to update as I have since replaced the Fuel Pump Relay (hooray for $100 random black boxes) after my mechanic spent a week looking for the problem. That did help...

interesting... I always figured it for electrical, but it's been a long while since I've had it stall (knocking on wood).
I switched gas from Chevron to the BP up the street from me.... who knows....

Just to update my previous post, I'm thinking about trying some JB weld on the lower seem this weekend and see if that stops the leak. Unless someone else has a better DIY suggestion.
