Its not for the ABS Computer, so what is it?

Ok. Thanks for the heads up.

This mystery connector looks just like the sockets for the Fuel Pump Relay and the Klima relay. Only its empty.

Anyone?

W124 Mystery Socket behind battery.

I've poked around behind the plastic cover behind the battery on my 1986 230E 124. I don't have the 124 CD-ROM, so bear with me.

I found the OVP, the CIS-E box, the Klima Relay, and the Fuel...

Fogging Euro Headlights.

One way to get rid of the fogging is to leave the cover off!

I believe you either seal it tight, or leave it open and let the moisture escape. Somewhere in the middle, and you get fog.

1979 350SE Euro

This is a great thread!

I'm pretty much a lurker here... but like most 116 owners, I rarely experience any faults with the 116.

I have a 1979 350SE Euro. short-wheelbase.

Good luck with your Solex 4A1

Although I don't know the original CFM rating of the 4A1's, I have successfully pulled of a Weber conversion using one 2bbl 40DCNF.

check it out here......

Question What engine do you have in your 280SL?

Your 1970 280SL is a W113, right? So you should have an M130 engine, similar as those found on the 280S/E. The distributor on the M130 engine is really close to the #1 spark-plug.

You don't...

Thumbs up That'll work

That's the same set I have on my 280S. The 90-degree elbow is for the #1 spark-plug, it is bent so it would clear the distributor.

Works well.

best regards,
