Sorry. 1997 SL500. Was told my code has 5 digets. Now instead of first diget just flashing after I enter code the display reads WAIT. I do/did and nothing happens.

Replaced plugs and fuel filter. My 1997 SL500 will flutter for a brief second and drop in RPM while in gear but at a stop. Any suggestions please.

The replacement emblem Phil from Fastlane sent does not have tape. It has 2 posts ( no screws/bolts ) on back. I`m a bit reluctant to just try and pry it off with a wedge or blade of some sort.
