1982 300TD - Sadie
When my daughter was two she called our '82 300TD "the 'cedes" which evolved into Sadie. I have come to think of her as a kind old lady who takes car of us. Sadie the lady Mercedes.

Are flares dangerous to store?
I have some flares stored in the first aid kit cubby of my TD. Is this a dumb move? I know they could come in handy if I break down at night but am nervous about them sitting right near the fuel tank...

flares bad idea?
I bought some flare cause I think they are so cool if you break down at night, and stow them in with the first aid and jack space in my TD - Is this a bad idea as it is also near the fuel filler????
