This is an 1983 euro 500SL, bought it in 1987, got the engine overhauled at MB dealer, it only had 60k miles on it but the dealers mechanic drop an allen wrench thru a spark plug hole and it damaged...

You just glue it with silicone, which is included with the cover, and you can almost notice any difference from the original, look at the picture. It took me 5 minutes to install.
