84 CD Door pockets - what years/models will fit
I have an 84 300CD, and the driver's door pocket has broken. Will the door pockets out of a 74 W114 fit?
If not, does anybody have a blue driver's side door pocket they'd like to sell?

The set of Falkens on my car are about worn out and I like the looks of the wider tread.
The stock 195/70/14s just look too skinny on the CD.

I went to GoodYear's website and checked out the specs on the 225/60/14 TA's. Recommended wheel width is 6"-8". Looking at the 215/60/14 specs (next smaller size) it said the recommended wheel width...

Why? That seems like a really weird thing to say. Would you rather sell to an apathetic buyer? What is the problem with selling something to someone who is "eager" to buy it?

Well, if they really are 114.3mm then good luck with that. I wouldn't do it.
Though the fact that they are steel wheels actually helps - they'll be more resistant to the off-center lug bolts...

Yeah no online calculator needed - I use the formula
([Width x Aspect Ratio x 2] / 25.4) + Wheel Diameter
For a 195/70/14 that would be
([195 x .7 x 2] / 25.4) + 14 = 24.74"
and for a...

OK, now I see. Ford made lots of vehicles with the 5 on 114.3mm bolt pattern. FYI, 114.3mm is a 4-1/2" bolt circle.
As others have said, putting a wheel with a 114.3mm bolt circle on a vehicle...

So the speedo ought to be pretty much spot on, but I'm wondering if...
