Red face Are all 617 turbo's interchangeable?

Just want to be sure a 79/80 will bolt into a 84+ 300SD. For some reason the turbo seemed smaller.

Thumbs up Pulling motor ona 80 300SD...

Well. I found a motor at JY -is it easier to pull with tranny? What size bits / sockets are needed for the torque converter / bellhousing / stater?
Any other tips appeciated.

Nope, didn't work

New one - enter code - comes up with on display "code" entered 4+ different codes. I used all different code progs. Still only displays "code" with 2 different front displays panels.

Exchanged my 754 I bought at the JY a couple days ago. On other post- plugged in worked great, unplugged and installed got 4 dashes. Exchanged for a 1480 today, when I install this should I plug in...
