lynns.....2000 SL500....shake at idle......pulleys replaced (including Harmonic Balancer today)..... motor mounts and plugs replaced. I don't see it being a coil pack without it throwing a code. ...

Yes and after you clear it, go directly to the smog place before it comes back. I had to do this when I bought my 400e. Previous owner had put cheap gas in it. Cleared it and 9 months later, still...

kinda late response but I drove an '81 300d a few weeks ago that had 1.2 MILLION miles on it. No joke. It shook like crazy but it drove on the street and freeway just fine.

Looks very nice. I looked at three 190e's, all 2.6 liters, and one 420sel before I found my 400e. I'm glad that all the 190's I looked at were in crap condition and the 420sel wasn't in the best...
