560 SEL Fuel leak at return hose ???

Our 91 560SEL has developed a problem: on the driver side fender there is a return hose and small cannister that has been leaking. First time this happened, it lost about a pint of fuel on floor....

Just drove a 91 350SDL . Zero to sixty took about 16/18 seconds. Thought these were suppossed to do this in about 12 seconds.

Offset is ET34 , I think. Tire size most likely 225-60-16 .

Looked at an 87 300SDL that had been fitted with 225/60/15's .Had no issues with hitting anything that I could tell. This is probably the largest size that can be fitted on the factory 6.5 inch width...

Rubber should work as a temporary fix; the hard line is sold at MB dealers by the meter and is cheap . Just had one snap on my 560SEL; I fixed it with duct tape. Please, no laughter :D:D:D
