I got a set from Scooter about four years ago. They are fantastic wheels and really help the car's suspension perform - half the unsprung weight as the oem steel wheels. I had all five.

Sounds like bad valve guide seals or loose guides. Oil is seeping into the combustion chambers and burning on startup. Running the engine blows it out.
