Re: Anyone from Las Vegas?
I lived in Vegas for three years with my '87 300E. It's hot as hell out there and there was definitely 6 years worth of wear and tear on my 300E. Mainly to the paint, plastic, and rubber parts. I...

Turning off ASR in 1994 C280
I have a 1994 C280 (W202) that came with optional ASR. Mainly out of curiosity I was wondering how to turn off the ASR on this model. The manual doesn't mention it. The only thing I can think of...

Thanks, I put the AMG 17X7.5 et35 without any problems. I suspect if you lower the car the front fenders might rub.
I also discovered you can put 17X8 in the rear with 245/40 tires, but IMHO...

C280 with 17" Wheels Roll the fenders ?
I'm looking to place my AMG 17"X7.5 wheels on 225/45-17 tires from my old 300E onto my '94 C280.
I have a catalog from Mercedes Benz (1999) that states I would have to roll the front fenders. I...

I recently purchased a '00 ML 430 and noticed the Stock Dunlop GrandTrek 275/55-17 tires are IMHO a "budget" tire, with "B"-rated traction and temperature.
The only other tire that I know of in...

I agree with "cbernabe." The 17" rims look much better and the compromise in ride is marginal at worst.
My '87 300E has 225/45's all around with AMG 17"X7.5" Monoblock II's. Eibach lowering...

Just wondering where the best place is to have the fenders rolled.
The body shop or the tire installers?
Does NTB roll fender lips as part of their installation?

AMGCKlass,
I ordered my Bilstein Struts/Shocks directly from IMPCO (Van Nuys, CA) for around $450 total. My local dealer was happy to do the install for $135.
