Make sure the line/hose that goes from the side of the turbo outlet to the waste gate can/actuator isn't leaking. I had mine tear once and it would make a very noticeable "whoosh" anytime the turbo...

Mine gets kind of harsh when the tank gets low, but I also have Bilstein HD shocks and moderately lower profile tires on larger wheels than were stock. Maybe check the tire pressure too

One thing to check is the little line coming off the water pump, should be a banjo fitting at either end, it's some kind of pressure bleeder or something and if it gets plugged can cause overheating...

You could always just pop the top radiator hose off and see how fast it drains, other than that I don't think there's any way other than pulling the water pump

I believe the wagon hitch works on the sedans, they use the same bumper mounts, and the forward bracing just goes up on the sides of the trunk. I don't think the Euro wagon hitches work on sedans...
