Would this type of wear contribute to whine?as the differential cogs only seem to come into play during a turn.mine was noisy on the straightaway.iwas thinking bearing wear and the whine always seed...

after closer inspection it appears that the ball itself is seized in the socket.when making the tight turn out of the parking spot there was obviously a great amount of stress on the pin itself...

i agree a lot of the stuff on these cars is fairly simple tech.the blower regulator looks like a simple PWM deal.the button box inside the car sending out PWM signal switching a mosfet transistor...
