I did not need to flush the sys or change the expansion value, but I did change the receiver/drier. By the way, I was able to verify that my evap was bad by pulling the heaterblower and related stuff...

I planning to flush my cooling system (1994 SL500), but cannot find the engine drain plug(s). I've had the car up on ramps and checked the bottom and sides of the engine with no luck. Can anyone help...

On my SL500 (94) it is located just below the oil...

On my SL500 (94) it is located just below the oil filter on the pass side of the engine. You can access it easily from under the engine. It takes a 17mm open end wrench to remove.
