Yes, that is the tranny cooling line. The passenger side has a small elbow at the radiator end, spring covered fitting at the fluid line end. When removing, the radiator end you need just 1 19mm...

What is the part number on the driver side of the diff. as well as the gear ratio stamped on the rear? I have a VERY GOOD one and the MB bearing / seal kit as well.

Just got new sunvisors for my 1984 380SL and would appreciate help in obtaining a very detailed procedure for R&R.

Part Number meaning- differential

On a differential main housing I have a part number 126 351 11 01
and STAMPED at the end of this housing are 6 digits, followed by 3 digits (the 3 are the ratio I am sure)
