We get about the same mpg with our 2000 ML320 also, avg 23 on highway up to 27 depending on who's driving & about 19 in town. Been like that for the past year and a half. I have 50K on ours now.

I had the same problem. A buddy that's a mechanic at a MB dealer told me to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, should reset. If it doesn't, dealer time. However, for me, it worked. Good luck.

They are different part numbers: For a 2000...
They are different part numbers: For a 2000 ML320 the front pads are 163 420 03 20 and the rears are 163 420 05 20.

Just curious..... When the engine is shut off and the key removed, you can hear the auxillary water pump for the heater still buzzing for a good 3 to 5 minutes. Is this normal?

I had the same thing happen to me. I had to replace the blower motor regulator. Mine just quit, replaced that piece and has worked just the way its suppose to ever since.
