I just removed the bulkhead in the trunk and noticed that on the left hand (driver's side) of the fuel tank, there's a cylindrical object (about three inches tall, about five inches in diameter)...

The right side speakers in my 1985 300SD have stopped working. I suspect that it may be a problem with the stock amps as I tried an extra radio I had lying around and it also failed to get the right...
