i had the same problem on my 2000ML 320 about 2 weeks ago, i replaced the relay for $20.00 and that solved the problem.

specific componant that is failing. they said that they checked the spark plugs

i noticed today that the transmission is leaking around the data plug , may have lost 1 onces of fliud over a month time ,need advice on how to fix it.

i just solved my check engine light on 2000ML 320...

i just solved my check engine light on 2000ML 320 10 days ago thanks to all the guys on this fourm, i cleaned the EGR tube it was 40% clogged and the light is gone the car drives much better.

i had the same problem on my 95 E420 last week, it was fuel hose between the filter and the line going to engine. ($30 from dealer) easy fix.
