Does your CD Changer magazine have 6 CD's in it? On the Becker aftermarket CD Changer if there aren't six disks in the magazine,in most cases, the head unit will not recognize the changer.

AKRI - I don't have experiance with the Benz problem, but I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee with the same problem. Jeep replaced my drive shaft (under warranty) and that fixed the problem.
