I did the test of taking off the filler cap to see if it dances around or smokes a bunch, it seemed to be pretty darn good.

Previous owner was running it on home brew DSE for the last five or more years that I know of. Goes rrrrr-rrrrr-chug kinda like that when cranked over. Battery is good.

It has 240k miles, was well taken care of and did have rebuilt injectors. It was run on a steady diet of home brew fuel though

Uneven sound when turning over om606

Being told based upon a video I took of the om606 that the uneven sound is a loss of compression on a cylinder, and to check valve clearances. Sounds pretty catastrophic to me? Is it?

Well people are telling me I don’t have compression on that cylinder based upon how it sounds on startup and to check valve clearances. Is that even possible on a om606?

Now it’s missing on cylinder 5. Cracked lines to see which one and 5 makes no difference. Made a odd mechanical clatter and started missing after that. Is something ruined or just the injector?

Thanks, I'll check it out! Seems funny that both the radio and the climate control both aren't working. I think all the fuses are good, but I'll recheck. Maybe the blower has gone bad?
