It probably will not hurt anything but it would be a waste. 2-3 hours is all the time the block heater needs to work.

The newer diesels seem to deal with the cold better then the older ones. The 606's have a lot of computer's controling them. But still -18 is cold for anything gas or diesel! :cool:
