what he needs is the valve though, from the sounds of it. it probably is available from the dealer.. they still have everything for these old cars.

that sounds like the valve that i re-used.. on the "new" setup it is not in the cap. had to move it to another location because of the hight constraint. the new tank is larger and taller.

well, i popped my hood and it looks like i did...

well, i popped my hood and it looks like i did use a new cap but did reuse the valve. shall i keep looking for the OE cap?

the bottle shape has changed so has the cap--because the old cap will not work with the new bottle (hight constraint) .. let me look here in the next couple of days and see if i have my old one still...
